Baked Trout with Seafood
  • 4 trout, 500g (1lb) ea., cleaned
  • 225g (1/2lb) butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cup wine, dry white
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 3/4 cup light cream
  • 18 oysters
  • 340g (3/4lb) shrimp, peeled

Blend 1/2 lb melted butter or margarine, 2 Tbsp flour. Add 1-1/2 Cups white wine, 2 Tbsp lime juice. Heat. Place trout into baking dish or pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; pour sauce over fish. Cover: Bake 10-15 minutes at 190C/375F basting 2 to 3 times. Add 3/4 C light cream, 18 oysters, peeled shrimp. Bake covered 20 minutes or until shrimp are cooked.
